A big “thank you” goes out to everyone who purchased advance tickets to the Justin Brogdon/Sonia Leigh show at Smith’s Olde Bar on Aug. 2. The show SOLD OUT before the doors open. It was an amazing night of music. My apologies to all of you who tried to buy tickets at the door and were turned away. I know you will buy advance tickets next time!
I’ve been trying to solve my merchandise display dilemma for a while now. Setting a “merch booth” at shows and then having no one to run it. Well friends, that is no longer a problem! Come by and check out the new Justin Brogdon merchandise suitcase. It turned out great!
We’re excited to announce our involvement with Rebel Synch. Rebel Synch connects Independent Artists from around the world with licensing opportunities for TV, film, advertising and gaming. Thank you Crystal Ortiz for all of your hard work.
We are proud to announce the release of the long awaited Justin Brogdon debut album. The record was made at Nickel & Dime Studios in Avondale Estates, GA. with Don McCollister (Shawn Mullins, Sister Hazel, Indigo Girls, Third Day) and mixed by John Kurzweg (Creed, Puddle of Mudd, Jewel, Big Head Todd & the Monsters) at Kitchen Studio in Santa Fe, NM.
You can purchase it here on the store page as well as on MySpace through SnoCap in digital format. Soon the album will also be available through CDBaby and iTunes.
The album contains 12 songs and features some of the South’s best musicians including Benji Shanks (Capt. Soularcat, Last Waltz Ensemble), Stephen Spivey (formerly Tishamingo), Andrew Hanmer (Charlie Mars), Jess Franklin (Tishamingo), Tony “G” Giordano (Full Black Out, Ancient Harmony, Big City Sunrise), as well as Don McCollister and John Kurzweg.
“…Brogdon’s song “Everything” is a prime example of his soulful style, featuring guitar work evoking such past Southern Rock heroes as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers Band and yearning vocals that recall such contemporaries as Pat Monahan of Train.”
